Careful what you ask for!
On Tuesday, Rory McIlroy gave his old Nike driver to a fan who simply asked for it in a Facebook comment.
Reddit first posted a screenshot of Rory responding to Barry Edwards, who commented on one of McIlroy’s recent posts.
“P.s – I still need a new Driver. Any chance of one of your old NIKE ones fella,” Edwards wrote.
McIlroy, as you can see from the photo below, responded by saying, “Sure. I’ll send you a Nike covert driver. Served me well! Message me your address and my team will ship it to you.”
